Mode of Study and Attendance requirements

DBA of UBDP is a face-to-face program with active involvement of e-portal platform and personal attention of the prominent professors holding Doctoral Degree in Business Management. In order to accommodate the busy schedule of the professional students, Research Training workshop will be held for 7-10 days once in every 6 months, and those who have inconvenience to attend twice in a year can attend 16 days once in a year.

Criteria for 3 Years DBA Program and Tuition fee

The UBDP 3 years DBA Program is a structured degree program requiring minimum 100 credit points in 4 semesters with a total tuition fee of US$ 25,000/- for 3 years. The candidates who possess Masters Degree in Economics, Business Management, Accounts or equivalent stream coupled with 5 years experience at top management level are eligible for admission.

Criteria for 4 Years DBA Program and Tuition fee

However, those who hold accredited Bachelors or Masters in other stream coupled with 5 years management level experience will have to undergo 4 years Integrated DBA with 196 credit points in 8 semesters with a total Tuition fee of US$ 35,000/- for 4 years.

For enrolment for the DBA, the relevant certificates (Bachelors and Masters) should be attested by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of issuing country followed by the Mexican Embassy/Consulate in that country.

Main Training Campus (MTC)

KKJ Township at Ernakulam Dist., Kerala, India is the Main Training Campus (MTC) in India while the UBDP Head Quarters at RAKIA, Ras Al Khaimah is the Training Centre for UAE, Oman and Bahrain students. The Students from other Countries can attend the Research Training Workshop either in India or in UAE at the convenience of the student.

Validation of DBA Certificate

Every student of UBDP undergoes 30 hrs. of face-to-face program and 60 hrs. of Research work for each subject, as stipulated by the Hispanoamericana University, Mexico (Parent University). Therefore, all practical purpose, the DBA accreditation issued by our Parent University is considered as Certificate issued to a normal residential student in Mexico. The DBA Dissertation is to be prepared as per American Psychological Association (APA) standard. The MTC and University Headquarters shall hold the Public Defense for the Doctoral Dissertation.

As per the terms of North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Certificates issued by USA, Canada and Mexico are treated at par and therefore accepted universally. The DBA Certificate issued by the Parent University at Mexico shall be certified by the Mexican Education Ministry followed by the attestation of the Mexican Foreign Ministry and the Embassy of the country to which the student belongs. DBA is the highest academic and research based qualification in the Business Management Studies. As such it need not act as a qualifying document for further academic or research based programs.
